& The World Music Award Goes to...

After a big Competition between the Lebanese Singer Elissa & the Egyptian Singer Amr Diab wondering who is going to win the World Music Awards of the Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist & after postponing the WMA from November 2009 to May 2010 the Results were announced : The Best selling Middle Eastern Artist for the year 2010 is the Lebanese Singer Elissa for her Album ''Tesaq Bi Meen'' the album hitted the top charts in the Arab world and it was Top 1 best selling album for three consecutive months .. Elissa will be in Monaco on the 18th of May to get her award , we want to notify that its the 3rd time Elissa Wins the WMA , she won this award for the first time in year 2005 for the best selling artist on her album '' Ahla Dounya'' & in the year of 2006 " Bastanak'' Album

on the other hand we heared that Elissa Won the Big Apple Music Awards for the Best Arabic Artist for the year 2010 & she is going to be in New York to get her award .other then Elissa the Nominees from the Middle East were : Tamer Hosni , Amr Diab , Ibrahim Tatlis , Andy , Kobe pertez & others .

Abaly Habibi The Number 1 song from Elissa's released album ''Tisaq Bi Meen '' is going to be released soon on Rotana Channels , Abaly Habibi shooting took place in Lebanon under the lense of the Lebanese Director : Mazen Fayad ... the shooting started on Sunday & its going to end on wednesday ... The Latest album of the Lebanese singer Elissa ''Tesadaq Bi Meen '' is still Number 1 on the best selling albums chart since it was released in Dec 26 2009 ... Elissa is expecting that the Album will stay on the top charts more weeks . On the other hand Elissa is planning to shoot Abaly Habibi probably with the director Walid Nassif that is still working on the story board , A baly Habibi hitted the radio's top charts and it was #1 on many radio stations in the arab world .

The album sold around 750,000 Units in the Middle East .

2010 Most Powerful people

Arabian Business Magazine released its annual list of the most powerful and influential Arabic people. As expected, some people lost their places on the top 100 while others moved up .

H.H Prince Al walid Bin Talal is in the top & he is still # 1
#2 spot is Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander in Chief of Dubai Police.
#3 Dalia Mojahed, who is the first Muslim wearing a Hijab and working in The White House.

As for Music
Amr Diab is at # 60 though Amr was #46 so he moved back 14 places
Tamer Hosni is at #63 this year, same as last year.
Ziad El Rahbani remains at #43
while at #54 is young Syrian actor Tayem Hassan, who became famous after his role as Farouk in the TV series “El Malek Farouk” .

Lebanese Canadian singer Karl Wolf came in at #59 and this is a big jump for him. In 2009 Karl was at #93, he moved up 34 places

The legendary singer Fairuz came in at #77. Last year Fairuz was at number 72, so she took 5 steps back.
where as the Syrian singer Sulaf Meamar came in at #82 and this is the first time she enters the list.

The Syrian director Hatem Ali remains at #86 same as last year.
Nancy Ajram came in at #90 taking 8 steps back, last year she was at #82.
Lebanese artist Marcel Khalifeh took huge steps down to #98; last year he was at #29.
